“Rain, rain, go away” is what we thought on the otherwise beautiful Autumn day for Julie and Kyle’s wedding in Annapolis. Luckily for the bride and groom, that wishful thinking helped and the rain subsided right before the waterfront photo shoot.
Tommy Gatz Entertainment started the day at Julie’s parents house. When it was time to head to St. Mary’s, the bridesmaids scrambled for an umbrella to protect Julie’s gorgeous gown and freshly coiffed hairstyle. Meanwhile, the groomsmen were already at the church awaiting the ladies’ arrival. The ceremony went off without a hitch and to everyone’s delight, the rain was no more as we were heading to take some photos by the water.
We then headed down to some docks and the Eastport bridge for a photography shoot before the reception. The bride’s bouquet of white roses was a beautiful touch to her gown that was adorned with crystals. The groom looked dapper with his unique tailed tuxedo and white bow tie.
You could feel the excitement in the air as everyone made their way to Loew’s for the reception. The reception itself was a purple paradise. This wedding was extra special to us because we provided professional and candid photography, DJ music, cinematography, event lighting and event coordination for all three daughters’ weddings of the Hammond family within two and a half years–with Julie being the last one!
All of our clients are important to us, but it’s neat to say they kept the tradition alive for all three of their daughters by hiring Tommy Gatz Entertainment each time. It’s an experience that we will never forget.
