When someone thinks of Halloween, they usually think of trick-or-treating and costumes but this past October 31st was even more of a special, fun-filled day. It was the day that bride Krista and groom Matt committed themselves to each other and a lifetime full of happiness. We were lucky enough to not only provide the DJ music and lighting for the wedding but also cinematography, wedding coordination and professional photography throughout the entire day of preparations and celebrations at Martin’s East.
Tommy Gatz Entertainment spent time with both Krista and Matt as they were getting ready to say “I do” and it was fun to see the beautiful bride and handsome groom eagerly await their special moment. The bride wore a gown with ivory details and her flowing red hair was a gorgeous complement to her bouquet, which was comprised of white flowers with orange and pink accents.
The wedding was unique in more ways than one. The masquerade-themed reception featured a candy bar– which is always a great idea, even when it’s not Halloween. Guests wore masks and were treated to a Thriller-style dance by the bride and groom. The cake topper was a silhouette of a couple dancing. Even more, the bride’s engagement ring was a blue gem, not a traditional diamond. It was one of our favorites that we have been a part of so far.
