Tommy Gatz Entertainment is proud of the work we have done over the years in our local community. We are big fans here of Shark Tank and as you know Shark Barbara Cocoran says, “A successful business always gives back.” Over the past year alone we have worked with our entertainment partner What’s Up Media of Annapolis, and provided the music, lighting and cinematography for the Nutcracker Tea Party benefitting the Chesapeake Children’s Museum, the Hospice of Queen Anne’s and Anne Arundel County’s Public Library Foundation in addition to the Fashion in High Gear event benefitting the YWCA of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County for Domestic Violence.
With so many great organizations in the Annapolis area we are proud to have provided music, event lighting, photography and cinematography to support the work of the Strut & Sip fashion show benefitting Autism and the Maryland Therapeutic Riding Center in Crownsville, Maryland in 2013. We look for unique opportunities in order to utilize our talents to benefit worthwhile organizations that look to make a difference in the lives of children in our area. This is why we take such pride in giving our time and energy over the past three years to the Greek Orthodox Youth of America, and St. George Greek Orthodox Church/Greek School. We have also provided DJ music for the St. George’s Greek Orthodox Church Luncheons for 2012, 2013 and 2014 benefitting the Bediani Orphanage which has helped to raise over $10,000 for their programs.
In 2013 and 2014 Tommy Gatz Entertainment has sponsored as a local business, a banquet recognizing the Broadneck High School Annual Senior Awards Benefits, honoring their senior athletes and alumni. This year, they will be honoring the 1989 Girls Basketball State Championship Team as well as the Class of 2014’s senior athletes.
We just completed supporting the Davidsonville Athletic Association in 2014. We are looking forward in the upcoming year to being a part of the Capital Gazette this summer on their annual High School Athletes Showcase to raise money for college bound high school athletic scholarships and with our What’s Up Media Partner at their Annual “Best Of” Party to benefit the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County’s Phillips Wharf Environmental Center.
